Training and qualifications

Tim qualified in 1983 at Guy’s Hospital in London. Tim moved to Bristol and worked in the Bristol Dental Hospital carrying out further maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry.

He joined the practice in 1993 and got involved with implants in 1997.

Treatments offered

Tim developed a special interest in dental implants and has become a clinical coach and mentor for colleagues.

Tim has a keen interest in implants and takes referrals from both the wider Bupa Dental Care family and from up to 40 other general practice dentists in the region.

After qualifying from Bristol University, Dr Sohail Rauf has practised dentistry for close to 30 years. He has had the privilege and benefit of different career pathways in dentistry, resulting in his holistic approach to patient care.

Sohail has specialist interests in restorative dentistry (aesthetic dentistry, crowns and bridges), endodontics (root canal therapy) and periodontology. At present he is furthering his knowledge in implant dentistry. He is a keen footballer and has lived in the Gloucester Road community since he began practising dentistry.

Dr Sushma Pandey is passionate about helping people smile with confidence and improving her patients' quality of life with dental treatment. Dr Pandey qualified in India in 2003 and moved to the UK in 2007.

After attaining her statutory qualification in the UK, she worked in Surrey and Hampshire before moving to Devon in 2014.

Sushma enjoys her role as a general dentist and treats a variety of patients at our practice. She performs a range of treatments including restorative dental work and cosmetic dentistry and has a particular interest in treating nervous patients and enjoys helping them overcome their dental anxiety.

Fausto qualified in 1998 as a dentist at the University of Pisa (Italy) and moved to the UK in the same year.

Fausto is an Invisalign accredited practitioner and has an interest in teeth whitening.

After graduating, Ross moved to London for his DF1 training. He then worked in the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, where he received excellent training on complex treatment planning, dental implant placement and oral surgery. He passed his MJDF examinations in 2017 to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England).

Later that year he moved to Sydney, Australia and worked in private practice for nearly four years. After returning to the UK, Ross joined us at the practice where he has been providing treatment with Invisalign aligners since 2019.

Samantha King is our lead dental nurse and practice coordinator. She joined the practice in June 2017 and works alongside Dr Tim Bryant.

Samantha has a keen interest in oral surgery and sedation and enjoys offering these treatments to patients, helping them regain confidence and restore quality of life.

Samantha qualified in September 2017 with her NEBDN diploma in dental nursing. Since then, Samantha has gone on to achieve other qualifications to broaden her scope of practice, such as advanced implant nursing, NEBDN topical fluoride application, NEBDN in intravenous sedation and CMI level 3 leadership. She is also currently undertaking a dental radiography qualification.

Jessica joined our Gloucester Road practice in 1999 and has continuously worked alongside Dr Rauf. She has received implant training with Straumann and advanced endodontic nursing training at King's College London. During her time at the practice, Jess has also undertaken the roles of treatment coordinator and apprentice nurse mentor.

Working alongside Dr Fausto Santi, you will often hear Danielle’s beautiful singing voice throughout the practice, which always guarantees a smile.

Working closely with Dr Sushma Pandey, together they provide excellent dental care and welcome especially nervous patients. In her spare time, Iwona loves to explore the outside, nearly always accompanied by her much-adored dog.
