David qualified from the University of Leeds in 1992 and has practised in Yorkshire ever since. He worked at the University of Leeds as a clinical tutor and is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantology. David has been awarded a membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and has completed postgraduate courses covering cosmetic dentistry and conscious sedation.

Graham served in the Royal Army Dental Corps before joining the team at Guiseley.

Graham joined our practice in 2013 after serving 16 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps. He qualified at the University of Leeds in 1997 and became a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2001. Graham has also attained a diploma in Dental Health Services Leadership and Management and is a member of the City and Guilds Institute. Graham focuses on prevention and has an interest in minimal intervention dentistry, short term orthodontics (CFast) and providing treatment in a cosmetically-focused manner.

Sue qualified at Leeds Dental Institute in 1984. She has worked in both NHS and private hospital environments and also worked in the Middle East for 15 years. She qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist in 2012 and has a special interest in treating nervous patients.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
