Along with her skilled and creative approach to general dentistry, Stephanie has a keen interest in composite bonding.

Pyry has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and is passionate about helping patients feel more confident in their smile. He provides bridges, crowns and veneers, teeth whitening and Invisalign treatment. He has over 10 years’ experience using clear aligners.

Pyry takes the time to assess his patients’ needs and goals and uses his knowledge to work with them on a treatment plan that they are comfortable with.

Ruth was born in Spain and studied dentistry in Valencia, graduating in 2003. She moved to the UK in 2010 and started working for the practice in September 2019.

She is an excellent and approachable family dentist. Her nature is very soothing for nervous patients and she always takes the time to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible before any treatment takes place.

Ruth is always keen to increase her skillset. She has completed postgraduate courses in orthodontics, as well as a master’s in surgery and dental implants.

More recently, Ruth has found a passion for facial aesthetics. She trained with Avanti Aesthetics Academy to be able to offer anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. She uses these skills to help her patients feel good about themselves and finds this process very rewarding.

Ruth prides herself on taking the time to talk to her patients about their expectations and wishes for their treatment, so that she can deliver the results they’re expecting. Some of these results can be found on Ruth’s Instagram @dr.ruthmedina.aesthetics.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
