Daniel has a strong interest in restorative dentistry and endodontics. After qualifying from Newcastle University in 2016 he moved back to Teesside, working in practices across Middlesbrough and Hartlepool, prior to joining our practice.

After developing an early interest in endodontics (root canal treatment), Daniel pursued further qualifications in this field. He completed the ‘Simplyendo’ course, ran by Dr Mike Horrocks, and gained a master’s degree in Endodontology in 2020.

Alongside his interest in endodontics, Daniel completed the year-long aesthetic and restorative dentistry course run by Dr Christopher Orr via Advanced Dental Seminars. This allowed him to provide more complex and cosmetic dental solutions for his patients. Looking to acquire further postgraduate qualifications, Daniel is currently undergoing his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, through the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

She qualified in 1994 and received an award for Hygienist of the Year.

Maxine has been associated with the Wessington dental practice since 2003, and over the years has seen many changes in the practice alongside huge advances in dentistry as a whole. One factor that has remained constant, however, is her dedication to providing the best dental and patient care she can. Any visit to Maxine will involve advice on improving and maintaining oral health as well as a thorough clean that never fails to promote confident smiles.

Before becoming a dental hygienist, Kay worked as a dental nurse. She has always enjoyed working in dentistry, and particularly likes educating and motivating her patients to maintain excellent oral health while building a strong rapport with each and every one. She takes a keen interest in the links between oral health and holistic health, especially in the connection between poor oral health and heart disease.
