Adam graduated in 2011 from the University of Birmingham Dental School with honours, and a distinction in Clinical Dentistry, following a year of foundation training in practice and at the Derby maxillofacial unit.

Adam has since been based at Tutbury for six years providing general dentistry with an interest in prosthodontics.

He started placing dental implants in 2014 and has completed a year-long training program with the well-renowned Richard Brookshaw and Bob McLelland, as well as sinus and bone graft training with Koray Feran and Cemal Ucer, and a number of other short courses. He is experienced using both Nobel Biocare and Straumann implant systems.

Adam holds the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has also broadened his expertise by returning to Birmingham to complete a master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry, which he graduated with distinction.

Mahisa is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. She has experience working in maxillofacial surgery and has a keen interest in oral surgery and endodontics. She hopes to build her facial aesthetic skills and experience in the near future, and she’ll soon be offering treatment with clear, Invisalign aligners.

Mahisa is committed to supporting more anxious patients, helping them feel at ease, and building a caring relationship with them.

Shweta is now pursuing a PG Certification in Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry. She has a strong commitment to continuing professional development and has completed various courses. Shweta has a deep passion for her profession, which reflects in her care and management of her patients.

After qualifying from Newcastle University with honours and distinction in 1989, Gill practised in Belper before joining Tutbury in 1990. Gill is passionate about dentistry and has completed many postgraduate courses over the last 30 years, ensuring she is up to date with the latest dental advice and treatments.

Gill provides general dentistry, orthodontic treatment and facial aesthetics. She’s an experienced provider of adult orthodontics using Six Month Smiles, a cosmetic teeth straightening treatment that enables her to straighten teeth using fixed braces and near-invisible aligners.

Gill has many years’ experience providing facial aesthetics and has trained with top cosmetic practitioners in the country to study advanced techniques and technologies. In 2014, she trained in Belgium to provide minimal invasive dentistry using tooth-coloured fillings. Gill has also undertaken training at The Dawson Academy, studying tooth wear, uncomfortable bites, and clicking joints.

She also uses dental lasers in her work, which can enhance treatments including crowns, veneers and periodontal treatment.

Pam regularly undertakes postgraduate training to maintain and expand her dental knowledge. She particularly enjoys providing cosmetic treatments such as white fillings, veneers and crowns.

Patients often comment on Pam's calm and gentle approach to treatment.

Lauren is an experienced dentist providing dental care for all ages. Since qualifying from the University of Sheffield in 2014, Lauren has developed a keen interest in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. She has worked in our practice since graduating, where she's gained experience and knowledge in dentistry.

Originally from Burton-on-Trent, Lauren has worked in the area for several years and offers a range of aesthetic treatments including teeth whitening and facial aesthetics. She also prides herself on giving confidence to and treating anxious and nervous patients.

Sarah qualified from the University of Leeds in 2003 with certificates of merit in orthodontics and oral surgery. Having originated from Barton-under-Needwood, Sarah returned to the Midlands after qualifying. She then completed vocational training at a practice in Derby before moving to Tutbury in 2014.

Sarah is passionate about dentistry and enjoys developing her skills and techniques. Over the years, she has completed many postgraduate courses in fields including endodontics, aesthetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, periodontics and snoring and sleep apnoea.

Sarah is also experienced in providing cosmetic braces for adults. She has a relaxed, friendly manner and enjoys building a good rapport with her patients. Her approach to dentistry means she’s good at putting our nervous patients at ease.

Emma’s principal aim is to work with patients to help improve their oral hygiene and maintain a healthier smile.

Jessica completed her diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2018. Before going to university to train as a dental therapist, Jessica was already a qualified dental nurse having completed her training at Leicester College.

As a dental therapist, Jessica can provide dental hygiene treatments and can carry out further dental treatments on adults and children; including fillings, treatment and extraction of baby teeth and crowns on baby teeth when advised by a dentist.

Jessica enjoys treating nervous patients and spends time building their confidence whilst they’re having treatment.

Kerry began working at the practice in 2000 and has a passion for helping anxious and nervous patients with her gentle and understanding approach. Along with her care and advice she will encourage you to achieve the best for your dental health for the future.

Susan trained as a dental nurse in the RAF over 40 years ago, and has experience working in many sectors of dentistry, including oral surgery and general dentistry.
