Training and qualifications

Arthie graduated from Barts and the London with a Distinction, and keenly enjoys all areas of General Dentistry staying up to date in the latest developments and advances. Arthie also has a particular passion for helping patients become confident in their smiles and has undertaken extensive courses since graduating, being currently close to completion of his 2 year Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

He is additionally an accredited Invisalign Comprehensive provider, a Quick Straight Teeth provider and 3d Align provider, all of which are various ways of straightening teeth.

Arthie welcomes all nervous and anxious patients with his calm and reassuring manner and aims to improve everyone’s oral health whilst being minimally invasive. Additionally, he has written a number of publications for dental journals and won various prizes.

Outside of dentistry, Arthie particularly enjoys Ice Hockey and loves to travel and explore and engages in volunteering work for the community.

Training and qualifications

After completing his training in Manchester, Niall worked in mixed practice in the North West, followed by a spell working overseas in private practice before settling in London in 2005. Niall enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. He has additional interests in restorative implantology, short-course orthodontics, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative dentistry.

In 2015, Niall formalised accumulated experience by completing a MSc in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, for which he was awarded a distinction.

As practice manager, she supervises all elements of the practice, ensuring it runs in accordance with CQC and GDC guidelines. Nicola feels lucky to have a great team who embody the Bupa Dental Care values and are supportive of each other.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
