Ekta is an experienced clinician. She has worked with with us since 2019.

Ekta graduated in 2002 and spent 11 years working in hospital oral surgery services, gaining the membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.

She worked in dentistry general practice and joined the minor oral surgery team in 2019.

Ekta is trained in sedation and provides this for many minor oral surgery procedures within our team and for other oral surgery units.

Manu has been practicing oral surgery since 1998. He is dedicated to the field of Oral Surgery and spends time teaching and training colleagues.

Manu is an active member of societies including the British Association of Oral Surgeons, the British Society of Occlusal Studies and SAAD.

Manu joined the minor oral surgery team in 2008 and treats patients under local anesthetic and intravenous sedation.

Marta qualified as an oral surgeon in 2008 and has worked with us since 2013.

Marta qualified from the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland in 2001. After qualifying, she worked in the oral surgery department at Warsaw, successfully completing a five year training program to qualify as as a doctor of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She registered as a specialist in oral surgery with the General Dental Council in 2010.

Marta provides surgical treatment under local and and general anesthetic in her secondary care role at Queen's Hospital in Nottingham. Marta was awarded a postgraduate diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry at Newcastle University in 2021. Marta joined the minor oral surgery team in 2013.

Rohit is qualified as both a doctor and dentist and is accredited as a level 2 oral surgery performer.

Rohit is working towards becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an interest in trauma, facial deformity and head and neck cancer. Rohit also works at University hospitals in Coventry and Warwickshire, treating patients for surgical and non-surgical extractions under local and general anaesthetic.

Rohit joined us in November 2021.

As well as her dental nursing qualifications, Amy achieved a diploma in Managemement and Leadership in 2018.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
