Welcome to Bupa Dental Care Ulverston
Previously known as Fountain Street Dental Practice, the now-named Bupa Dental Care Ulverston practice offers a range of NHS and private dental treatments and has been serving the local community for over 20 years. Situated within the quaint market town of Ulverston, our practice offers a friendly and welcoming environment.
We offer emergency appointments, for which we aim to treat patients as soon as possible, and we are currently accepting external referrals for endodontic treatments.

Our opening hours
We’re open from 9am till 5.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays we’re open from 10am till 6.30pm, and on Fridays we open from 9am till 5.10pm.
How to find Bupa Dental Care Ulverston
Our practice is located on Fountain Street, Ulverston, a small market town in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria. We’re approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Ulverston Train Station and are close to local bus routes. Car parking is available opposite the Practice, in a public car park.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
