Inman Aligners

Inman Aligners

What are Inman Aligners?

An Inman Aligner is a removable, metal orthodontic treatment, used to treat crowding or protrusion (teeth that angle forward) of the front teeth.

Treating only the front, visible teeth, is a type of cosmetic teeth straightening that can offer quick results. Inman aligners are a more discreet option than traditional fixed braces. Only a thin metal wire, or sometimes a clear band, is visible.

How much do Inman Aligners cost?

As with all orthodontic treatment, the cost of the aligners depends on the complexity of your case and length of treatment.

Following your consultation, you’ll be advised of the best brace or aligner options. You’ll then be taken through a tailored treatment plan with all costs involved, so there’s transparency from start to finish.

Payment options are available at many practices to help you spread the cost of treatment*. Speak to your local practice for more details.

How do Inman Aligners work?

Inman Aligners attach to the back teeth and have two metal aligner bows, one that passes behind the front teeth and one that passes in front. The bows are gradually tightened to gently guide the teeth towards the final position.

The aligners can be taken out for eating, drinking and brushing but must be worn for 16 to 20 hours a day, as directed. Every two to three weeks, you’ll need to see your dentist or orthodontist for a review and adjustment.

How long does treatment take?

Length of treatment depends on the complexity of your case, but most cases are completed within six to 18 weeks.1 After your consultation, the dentist or orthodontist will talk through your bespoke treatment plan, including the length of treatment.
