How to make low-sugar banana bread

The lockdown has encouraged home baking across the country with many aspiring bakers looking to try tasty new recipes.

We all know that too much sugar can be harmful for your teeth, but banana bread doesn’t have to be full of sugar to be delicious. If you’re looking for a new recipe, why not have a go at baking our low-sugar, teeth-friendly banana bread?

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 125g dark chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp sweetener
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 120g self-raising flour
  • 30g plain flour
  • 3 eggs (whisked)
  • 50ml apple juice

Bake and enjoy!
