Our practice on Dudley Road, Brigg, in North Lincolnshire has been providing dental care since 1952. We are dedicated to providing high-quality family dentistry, while expanding on the number of services we offer.
Today, Bupa Dental Care Brigg offers a wide range of private and NHS services, from general dentistry to cosmetic treatments – and emergency NHS appointments subject to availability. Our patients enjoy coming to our practice and a great number of our team have been here for many years, knowing the patients by name and building a good relationship with them over time.
Unfortunately we're not currently accepting new NHS patients, but we are welcoming new private patients to the practice.
Referring to us
Our dentists have expertise in a number of different areas, accepting referrals for dental implants, periodontics, social orthodontics (including Invisalign aligners), and complex restorations.
As well as supporting our dentists, our team of hygienists and therapists accept referrals for private hygiene visits, where they will deep clean and polish the teeth and give advice on cleaning and oral health.
Oral health for children
Our nurses are trained in in-practice prevention – an initiative run locally where families are given intensive and detailed oral health instruction. Using fun exercises, they teach children (and parents) how to clean their teeth, and what they should be eating to look after their teeth. If you wish to book your children in for a session, speak to our reception team anytime.
Commitment to quality
We’ve been a member of the British Dental Association Good Practice scheme since 2005, showing that we are committed to providing good quality care for our patients at Brigg.
Getting to Bupa Dental Care Brigg
The practice is easy to access with a large car park within two-minutes’ walk of the practice. It’s free to park here for up to two hours – but make sure you get a ticket. There’s a bus stop on Barnard Avenue just around the corner from the practice. There are five parking spaces on the road in front of the building, but we ask that these are reserved for those less steady on their feet. You can park on the road outside the practice, for free, for 60 minutes.

We have ramp access to the front door of the practice, and we’re all on one level – making us easily accessible for patients using wheelchairs or those with mobility issues.

Of our patients surveyed say ‘I feel involved in all decisions about my care.’
"This is a first-class dental practice. Clean and welcoming, the receptionists and dental nurses are always polite and helpful. My dentist, Mrs Rosemary Rucker, is quite excellent. This lady talks you through every aspect of what she is doing as the treatment progresses. She offers valuable oral hygiene advice in a non-patronising manner and is always cheerful, polite and friendly. The best of it all however is the fact she is a superb dentist.
I have, over the years, received excellent treatment from two other dentists in this practice. I believe this to be a beacon practice and it serves as an outstanding example of how first-class dental care should be delivered."
No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
