Alex developed a love of dentistry from a very early age and could often be found as a young child during the school holidays playing with teeth in his father’s dental laboratory. As Alex grew older, he began helping his father out on a regular basis.

He qualified as a dentist in Romania in 2002 where he worked until 2012 before moving to the UK. His goal is to provide quality dental care and treatment to his patients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Alex is always looking to improve his skills and learn new techniques in the profession. He has completed a number of courses including a restorative and aesthetics level two certificate, as well as courses in minor oral surgery, short-term orthodontics, facial aesthetics and digital dentistry.

Alex prides himself on his calm and supportive demeanour, which is popular with nervous patients at the practice. Outside the practice, Alex is a certified hypnotist and master neuro-linguistic programming practitioner.

Asrar is focused on placing dental implants and performing oral surgery at the practice. He has over 20 years’ experience in the field of oral surgery and has been working in the South East of England since 2004.

Asrar has extensive training in dental implants, including a master’s degree from the University of Bristol. He provides single and multiple implants, bone grafting and complex tooth extractions.

Asrar works part time in the oral and maxillofacial surgery department of District General Hospital, Eastbourne. He has also worked at several other hospitals in the South East, including The Royal Sussex County Hospital, District General Hospital, Conquest Hospital and The Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Asrar is a Fellow, registered speaker and director of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) East Sussex study club. He’s presented his clinical work at a number of local and international events and is a tutor and examiner for dentists furthering their implant and oral surgery training.

He is also a Fellow and master of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) and Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP) of The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Asrar has a relaxed approach to dentistry, which helps to make your dental experience as comfortable as possible in a relaxed environment.

Eleanor began her journey in the dental industry in a vocational trainee position, and then became a dentist at the same organisation. She moved to Brighton in 2014.

In 2018, Eleanor began a three-year master's programme in endodontics, and has so far been awarded a postgraduate certificate.

Aside from endodontics (root canal treatment), Eleanor enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about supporting and treating nervous patients, and treating children.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
