After graduating in 2003, Nik committed himself to continuing his dental training.

Enjoying the challenge of intricate root canal procedures, Nik completed a postgraduate certificate in root canal treatment in 2010 and purchased his first dental microscope – essential for good quality root fillings. Part of his postgraduate training included a short course on cosmetic dentistry. Nik pursued this further, going on to complete a certificate in cosmetic and restorative dentistry in 2011. Since then, Nik has offered a range of cosmetic and restorative work and has completed training to enable him to be an Invisalign provider.

Nik is passionate about ongoing professional development, specifically dental implantology and dental aesthetics. He has been placing and restoring implants for over 10 years, and has attended multiple courses on modern implant treatments, most recently on the 'All on 4' technique to replace full arches on the same day. Alongside this, Nik also recently gained a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.

He is qualified to provide sedation to nervous patients and is excellent at putting anxious patients at ease.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
