The longest serving dentist at Elgin, Jaco enjoys delivering a variety of dentistry to his patients, including endodontics and periodontics.

Jaco qualified as a dental surgeon in 1983 from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. After completing his national service in 1985, he joined a family practice in Kimberly.

In 2000, Jaco relocated to the UK and in 2006 joined the Practice that later became Bupa Dental Care Elgin.

Jaco strongly believes in providing continuity of care to his patients and his special interests lie in family care and orthodontics, namely Six Month Smiles.

Stewart Cochrane is the lead clinician at Bupa Dental Care Elgin and provides a wealth of experience in cosmetic dentistry and the restoration of dental implants.

Stewart is also happy to offer aligner treatment in conjunction with composite bonding.

Stewart is a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies and teaches the treatment of bite related issues, which include TMJ disorders or problems caused by the wearing of teeth.

He is passionate about post-graduate teaching and regularly attends advanced restorative courses, and we’re delighted to have him lead our clinical team.
