Shwaita Sood qualified in 2009 from King’s College London. Since then, she has striven to provide the optimal level of general dentistry for all her patients in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

She has always been keen to continue to enhance her dental skills having completed the Aspire Advanced Aesthetics Dentistry, striving to treat each individual patient’s aesthetic requirements as well as ensuring her patients understand and are happy with the final results and future care.

Shwaita enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but her main passion has been working with extremely nervous patients and helping them gain confidence in dental care again. She completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation, with an emphasis on understanding and managing phobia from Newcastle University.

Earlier in her career, she also spent time working as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer, which gave her the opportunity to improve her skills with more complex oral surgery.

Shwaita also worked as a clinical teacher at King's College London once a week, supervising the next generation of dentists, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. She was also a member of the Local Dental Council to ensure she is up to date on all developments in the dental world as well as regularly attends conferences and courses.
