A warm welcome to Malt House Specialist Dental Centre
Our team enables patients to keep their teeth and enjoy comfort, function, health and an aesthetic smile for as long as possible, and offers a range of general, complex and cosmetic dental care with specialists offering services in endodontics (root canal), orthodontics, periodontics (gum and oral health), prosthodontics (full mouth rehabilitation) and dental implants. For nervous patients, we can offer dental sedation in addition to our usual relaxation focused approach to dentistry.

Dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, endodontics (root canal treatment). Alongside dental implants, we offer a full range of supporting treatments including bone grafting, sinus lifts, gum treatment and soft tissue grafting
Cosmetic dentistry

Khurrum is a specialist in periodontics. He also teaches periodontics to postgraduate students at Manchester Dental Hospital.
Obyda Essam
Obyda is a registered specialist in endodontics. He accepts referrals for consultations and treatment of complex root canal cases.
Zohaib Ali
Zohaib provides all aspects of prosthodontic care including the restoration and replacement of damaged or missing teeth.
Our practice
Our practice is located in the old malt house of Threlfall's Brewery, a grade II listed building that was constructed in 1896 to the design of W.A. Deighton for Chester's Brewery Company. The practice is housed within the Deva Centre business park off Trinity Way which has a pedestrian entrance on Chapel Street at the rear of the Lowry Hotel - Manchester’s first five-star hotel.
We opened as a newly refurbished dental practice in May 2002 and offer an array of specialist services. We ensure all our clinicians provide excellent dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment equipped with modern technology, including digital radiography, photography, computerised imaging and data collection systems.

How to find us
We’re based at the Deva Centre business park just off Trinity Way. If you’re arriving by foot, you can access a pedestrian entrance on Chapel Street at the rear of the Lowry Hotel. We are able to offer limited onsite parking and excellent transport links via bus, train or tram. Local train stations are Victoria & Salford Central which is a five-minute walk away and we provide free refreshments, WiFi and magazines in our relaxing waiting area. To support our commitment to sustainability, please consider walking or using public transport for your appointment if possible.
