Maxine has over three decades of dental experience that ranges from periodontal and hygienist to general practice having worked in both NHS and the private sectors. She is also a member of the British Dental Hygiene and Therapy Association and Dental Protection Society.

Nichola Jordan

Nichola is responsible for the treatment and maintenance of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as providing fillings for adults and children. She helps educate our patients on how to improve and maintain dental health and often works with those nervous about receiving treatment.

Tareq Ahmed

Tareq joined the Practice in 2017. He helps patients to achieve and maintain good oral health by carrying out all aspects of hygiene treatment. In addition to this, his extended knowledge and skills in restorative dentistry allow him to undertake a wide variety of treatment. Tareq has a specific interest in the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry.

Gemma Clark

Gemma joined the Practice in 2006 and is our lead dental nurse responsible for the efficient running of our surgeries and nursing team. As well as being a qualified dental nurse she has also obtained additional qualifications in dental radiography and oral health promotion.

Sarah joined the While Road team in February 2018 having previously been the practice manager at our Stafford branch since 2007. As well as being an experienced manager she is also a qualified dental nurse and dental radiographer.

Sharmain Johnson

Sharmain joined in December 2007. Since then Sharmain has undertaken a number of roles, including working as a dental nurse and has experience as a treatment coordinator and more recently as one of our patient care advisors or receptionists.
No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
