Welcome to Bupa Dental Care Danbury
Our well-established dental practice based in Danbury, just outside of Chelmsford, Essex, has been in operation since the 1950s. Today, Bupa Dental Care Danbury provides a range of private and NHS dental treatments and emergency appointments. We welcome new patients – we’re accepting new private patients, and referrals from other dentists.
The team at Danbury work together to create a welcoming and friendly environment so patients feel comfortable as they embark on their dental treatment journey. We offer a range of different treatments, which includes teeth whitening using products like Enlighten and Philips ZOOM! We also offer orthodontic treatment to help straighten teeth. You can choose from a number of systems which include Invisalign, Six Month Smiles and Cfast. And we fit dental implants.

We know the value of extended opening hours, so we stay open until 7.30pm on Mondays and 6.30pm on Tuesdays.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
