Of our patients surveyed say ‘I feel involved in all decisions about my care.’
Treatment expectations always meet what you would expect from highly qualified, very competent staff: administered with the greatest of care and all explained fully before and during treatment.
From the minute you arrive in practice you are treated with utmost care and professionalism from all staff in clean, modern, bright premises.
The atmosphere is calm and tranquil despite being in a very busy, full-on practice.
The treatment rooms are equipped with most up-to-date modern equipment.
Looks very much like the working environment for all staff is one of an excellent establishment to be employed.
I was extremely satisfied with my care at your practice. Every member of staff was professional and friendly. I felt reassured from the moment I entered the practice, despite my symptoms. I was able to access telephone advice, as well as emergency and routine care very quickly. Dr. McIntosh discussed my treatment plan in-depth beforehand, including the cost, benefits, risks, and potential complications. I was comfortable throughout the treatment and given rigorous advice with respect to my recovery. I felt safe attending the practice despite the COVID-19 pandemic, with face coverings and hand sanitiser available at the entrance, and social distancing guidelines enforced. The practice was meticulously clean. It was obvious that patient safety was of the utmost importance.
Many people become anxious when visiting their dentist and I've always wondered why? You are in the hands of a professional demonstrating remarkable skills with the primary objective of rendering a painless procedure to their patient.
My own experience of QC dental practice over the years has actually been one of relaxed confidence that whatever the task in hand, I'm going to come out significantly better than when I went in. I've never been disappointed to date.
The admin and reception staff are very welcoming in the first place and seem to be able to create an atmosphere that you are unique and special, which all goes towards the feeling of confidence.
My dentist, Shahab, and his assistants couldn't be more friendly and reassuring that my treatment is the focus of their attention; always maintaining a dialogue of explanation as to the stages of the procedures and importantly my comfort level.
As regards to comfort, the overall ambience of the reception and surgeries evokes quality and this calming feeling of confidence that I'm in safe hands.
The recent COVID crisis has been handled exceptionally well by the QC practice. I certainly have no uncertainty, that not only is my health being looked after, but also the health of all staff members also.
Perhaps QC stands for "Quality Counts" but I think that phrase has already been locked down too.
Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
