Of our patients surveyed say ‘I feel involved in all decisions about my care.’
Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
"The people there are professional friends whom it is a pleasure to visit. The visits are swift and well managed, yet always feel as though there is nothing more important going on than the care of my health. The equipment there feels as though it is the best available and when, very occasionally I have a "dental emergency", this is invariably handled very quickly and nobody makes me feel as though I am interrupting their busy schedule."
"The knowledge and expertise of the dental surgeon that treats me combined with the professional and friendly atmosphere prevails despite the difficult circumstances everyone is working in."
"I have been a member of this practice for many years. They have always been helpful and friendly. Eric especially, has helped to reduce my fear of dentists by making me feel comfortable."
