I had real issues with gum disease.

A lot of it was hereditary, some of it was medical.

So I was in pain all of the time. So 24 hours a day, just constant pain.

You literally couldn't eat anything without any kind of pain.

It's just a lot of embarrassment as well.

If you haven't got a nice enough smile and you're in a kind of customer-facing job, it's really difficult.

A lot of self-confidence issues there.

Never wanted to smile, never wanted to go out.

So unless I was going to work, I kind of avoided all other social interactions.

I found TDC through a website search.

Previous to this, everyone had told me I couldn't have implants because I didn't have enough bone.

When Anthony came in, he immediately put me at ease. He just sat me down and was like, "It's absolutely fine. This is where you start. This is how we fix it and this is what will happen."

So surgery day was intense.

I was the most afraid I think I've ever been in my entire life.

So I opted for conscious sedation.

If I could have gone for full sedation, I definitely would have because I was so scared.

But no, conscious sedation was wonderful.

Nico is an absolute master of this art.

There was literally no pain, not even with the injection going in.

It was absolutely fine and definitely not something to worry about.

So walking in with my old teeth, embarrassed and ashamed of what they looked like, fast forward eight hours later and going out with teeth that basically looked like my old teeth.

So it was quite overwhelming.

I did have a little cry, but looking in the mirror, it was incredible.

The treatment has literally changed my life.

And I know that sounds dramatic, but it really has.

So confidence-wise, just everything I do now — any of my pictures from before, no smiling, always closed mouth — and now I just literally look like a Cheshire Cat all the time.

I've got teeth in every single photograph.

The difference now, as a side effect of that, is that I’m just brimming with confidence.

I can speak to anybody.

I do lots of presentations.

I just would never have wanted to do any of that beforehand.

I will literally speak to anyone, which is really, really nice.

Yeah, lots of people don't think you can get a smile in a day.

I am living proof that it all can be done in a day.

So I'm really, really glad I found TDC.
