Located in the heart of Peterborough, our award-winning dental implant centre solely focuses on restoring missing teeth with dental implants. We’re the home of smile in a day, an innovative technique for placing same-day dental implants.
A new smile in just one day
Smile in a day treatment is an innovative implant technique which is ideal for people with lots of missing or failing teeth, or those who don’t want to wear dentures.
Our team can safely place you a new smile in just one day using dental implants and a full set of temporary, natural-looking fixed teeth. The temporary teeth are then replaced with a permanent set once the healing period is complete.
The smile in a day procedure could transform your confidence, well-being and quality of life is you’re affected by loose and missing teeth.
Experts in implant placement
Our lead dental surgeon and specialist periodontist who carries out smile in a day treatment, Dr Michael Zybutz, has over 25 years’ experience placing dental implants. He’s also featured on TV providing dental advice and performing smile transformations.
The majority of patients who come to us have at least one jaw restored using the smile in a day technique. We routinely treat patients with complex dental needs without the need for bone grafting or sinus lifts, but we can provide these, and other surgical procedures, if necessary.
Our team regularly treat patients referred by other dentists. We have been able to treat many patients who may not have thought they were suitable for dental implants with our smile in a day technique.
Patient-centred care
When you arrive at our centre, you’ll receive a warm welcome from our reception team. We like to make our patients feel at-home, so we offer a calm and friendly environment with magazines and newspapers for you to read.
Our implant centres, also in Folkestone and London, Harley Street, have had recognition for outstanding patient care, winning the Best Customer Experience award in 2018 at the My Face My Body Awards.
We’re situated on the third floor, however there’s a lift to reach the practice and we can accommodate visitors using standard-sized wheelchairs. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us before your appointment so we can make your visit as easy as possible.
Services for nervous patients
Many patients who come to us for implant treatment have lived with dental anxiety for years. All our staff have been trained in, and have extensive experience in, helping nervous patients.
Each of our patients have a treatment coordinator to help them through every step of treatment, from their initial consultation to aftercare appointments. They’ll get to know you and be able to answer any questions you might have.
We can also offer conscious dental sedation during your implant treatment to help put you at ease during your treatment. Your seditionist will also stay with you throughout the whole procedure. If you’d like to find out more, we’d be happy to speak to you about your options.
Finding our dental implant centre
We’re conveniently located on the third floor of the Market Chambers building on Cathedral Square. We’re close to the Westgate and Queensgate shopping centres and our doorway is next to Boots Opticians on Cathedral Square.
Local parking is available in the nearby Queensgate Shopping Centre; type PE1 1NT into your Satnav. If you’re travelling on public transport, there are plenty of buses that run through the town centre and we’re less than a 10-minute walk from Peterborough train station.

Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Finance applicant must be aged 18 or over, a UK resident, have a UK bank account and be in permanent employment.
The minimum spend for finance is £500 and the maximum is £50,000. 0% APR representative is available on repayment terms of up to 40 months. Finance taken at repayment terms of 48 or 60 months is subject to 7.9% APR representative.
All finance is subject to eligibility, status, affordability and a credit check T&Cs apply.
