Alana graduated from UCLan/Liverpool University with a bachelor's degree in dental surgery in 2013. She is currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry.

Prior to becoming a dentist, Alana achieved an honours degree in Human Biology and Anatomy from Manchester University and spent a year working as a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. It was following orthodontic treatment (fixed braces) that Alana decided to retrain as a dentist, after experiencing first-hand the impact a smile has on an individual’s happiness and self-esteem.

Alana has been working in general practice since 2013 and joined Bupa Dental Care in 2019. She has a strong focus on prevention, and endeavours to use techniques that preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible. Alana enjoys providing care for the whole family and finds working with anxious patients particularly rewarding. In addition to routine dentistry, Alana provides a number of cosmetic treatments including composite white fillings/bonding, tooth whitening and veneers.

After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2017, Danielle completed her dental foundation training back in the Manchester area where she has worked within general dentistry ever since.

Whilst at university, Danielle was awarded the British Society of Paediatric Dentists final year prize, for her work within paediatric dentistry and her continued efforts to improve the oral health of children.

She has worked in both NHS and private practice and has also been involved with dental foundation training for the undergraduate dental students at the University Dental Hospital in Manchester. This led her to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice at Edge Hill University.

Danielle enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially treating children and nervous patients. She has completed training in Invisalign treatment and attends regular courses to keep up to date with best practice. Danielle aims to make sure all patients have a positive dental experience, and her kind, calm and approachable manner helps to put patients at ease.

Mihaela obtained her dentistry degree in Bucharest, Romania in 2003. She joined the NHS in 2011, after spending seven years working in private dentistry in Madrid and Bucharest.
