Bupa Dental Care Wantage is situated in the small town of Wantage; we’ve been practising dentistry since the 1980’s. During this time, we have formed many long and trusted relationships with our local patients by offering a consultative approach to dentistry. Today, we offer private and NHS dental services and emergency appointments.
You will benefit from our technology including an intraoral camera and digital X-rays that allow a lower radiation dose. We also have an Itero scanner, which means we can avoid taking impressions for your dental work – a relief for patients with a strong gag reflex.
We have facilities on the ground floor, providing easy access for pushchairs, wheelchairs and elderly patients.
Our dedicated team is friendly and approachable and will be happy to answer questions at any stage of your treatment.
Dental treatments
We offer general dental services, such as check-ups, fillings and hygiene appointments, as well as a range of cosmetic and surgical dental treatments. We place dental veneers, and offer teeth whitening solutions, including whitening kits such as Philips ZOOM!
With our clear and invisible orthodontic treatments, including the Invisalign and Cfast systems, we can help you achieve straighter teeth. And we also fit dental implants.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
