Many of our Bupa Dental Care practices offer Philips Zoom! teeth whitening, which can help you achieve a smile up to six shades whiter in just one hour‡. It’s the ideal option if you want whiter teeth quickly. You’ll also have the reassurance of being treated by one of our qualified dentists.
If you’d prefer to administer your whitening treatment at home with guidance from a dentist, we also provide home whitening kits.

How does in-practice teeth whitening work?
You can have your teeth up to six shades whiter with just a few simple steps:
Step 1 – Book a check-up
Before having whitening, you’ll need a consultation* with your dentist to ensure you’re dentally suitable for treatment.
Once your dentist has confirmed you’re suitable for whitening, they’ll take impressions of your teeth which are used to create custom-made trays.
They’ll also talk to you about the shade of white you want to achieve.
Step 2 – Get your new whiter smile
When your trays are ready, you’ll come back for your whitening session.
During the appointment, your dentist will place a shield in your mouth to protect your gums, before painting the whitening product onto your teeth. They will then use the Philips Zoom! lamp to activate the whitening solution.
The whitening is done in four 15-minute sessions, but you’ll need to allow two hours for the whole appointment.
Step 3 – Protect your new smile
Before you leave, your dentist will give you your top-up kit (which you can use as the whitening starts to fade) and explain how to use it at home.
They’ll also discuss how to hold onto your brighter smile. This includes brushing your teeth well, regular visits to the hygienist and cutting down on smoking or drinks that can stain your teeth.

hello because I work in TV in am on TV everyone that I meet that also on TV and works in TV has incredible teeth, so immediately you feel like you're you're underdressed you know in terms of your mouth
I guess if I talked it up all the money that I've spent on this products going to make your teeth seven times whiter in two weeks guaranteed it would be ridiculous and I'd feel very embarrassed
but I know doing it in a practice in a controlled environment with a professional it's going to be safe I'm going to get the results that I really want
and you know there's there's someone who's been trained to do this process that's doing it for me so I feel very comfortable being in a place like this
We proceed with fast or initial patience consultation and we are looking at patient is dentally fit and it is safe to proceed with teeth whitening
normally we would book patients for to our appointment but that includes applying the treatment applying the gel isolating the gums and then it takes four sessions which lasts 15 minute long and after two hours patient can walk out with a wide smile

incredible so what I really wanted to do is just have like a nice flat even colour and it's completely done that they look so natural they look so bright and I'm so happy with the results
Spread the cost of your treatment
Patient finance is available for treatments that cost between £250 and £50,000 at 0% APR** when you choose a repayment term of between 3 months and 36 months (subject to the amount of credit), this means that you can spread your treatment cost over a term that suits you, and you don’t pay back any more than you would pay otherwise.
Once you have agreed your treatment plan with your dentist, you’ll have the option to apply.
