Mohamed Elneklawy

GDC - 263724 Statutory Exam 2016, Bachelor Degree of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Cairo 2004 Dentist, Specialist in Endodontics

Mohamed qualified from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2004. In 2018, he was entered onto the GDC specialist list for endodontics.

In 2007, Mohamed began three years of speciality training in restorative dentistry, with a subspecialty in endodontics. This allowed him to gain Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2009, Mohamed began running a private practice in Cairo, performing endodontic treatments under a surgical operating microscope and receiving regional referrals.

In 2016, Mohamed relocated to the UK to work as a clinical teaching fellow in restorative dentistry, at the University of Leed’s School of Dentistry. He focused on teaching endodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as treating complicated endodontic cases and running endodontic troubleshooting clinics.

Mohamed is happy to accept referrals from other dentists, for endodontic treatments, re-treatments and assistance with endodontic mishaps. Soon, he’ll be accepting referrals for microsurgeries including apicectomies.

When patients are referred to Mohamed, they’ll have a thorough assessment before deciding on any of the treatments, followed by a full explanation of the pros, cons and prognosis of every procedure. They’ll then be returned to their dentist to continue their restorative care, accompanied with a postoperative letter explaining the details of the treatment performed.
