Welcome to Bupa Dental Care Poundbury
Our team consists of three dentists who offer oral surgery, dental implants and orthodontics, as well as three general dentists. They’re supported by our dedicated hygienists, dental nurses and support staff who are excited to welcome you into the practice.

Ali-Reza Shayestah
Ali joined our practice in 2022. He qualified in Prague in 2009 and since then has built up a large portfolio of experience. He has completed a one-year restorative course at Tipton academy in Manchester and a one-year Nobel BioCare Implant course in Cambridge. He particularly enjoys aesthetic work and helping people to smile confidently.
Philip Laws
Phil is experienced in both clinical and technical aspects of denture production. He has been with us for several years now and is popular with his patients due to his caring and calming manner.
Serena McKenna
Serena joined our practice in 2014. She qualified in 1990 from London University (Guy's Dental School) and since then has been working in general practice. Serena keeps up to date with modern techniques with regular postgraduate education and strives to provide excellent dental care in a caring and ethical manner.
Diana Nuca
Diana is an experienced dentist who qualified in 2007 with a particular interest in restorative work and composite bonding. Our patients love her calm and caring attitude, and her sense of humour is extremely popular with everybody. She also treats children who adore her and her sticker collection.
How to find us
We’re just a few minutes’ drive from Dorchester, on Bridport Road. We have free on-site parking for patients and there’s free parking on the surrounding streets of the practice. Dorchester South train station is a 20-minute walk from the practice and the number 6 bus stops nearby the practice regularly. There’s also a bike rack in our car park for cyclists.
