“I was very nervous but was immediately put at ease by the receptionists. The dentist was very understanding and helpful. I have to go back for further treatment and have no concerns whatsoever.”
“The staff are always so friendly, helpful and kind. I’m a very nervous patient but always feel safe and reassured by the wonderful care I receive on every visit. I cannot recommend Alice and her team, Sue and Louise on reception, highly enough.”
“Felt safe with the COVID-19 rules in place. Staff all friendly and professional as usual. Experience was as good as ever.”
“Friendly and well-informed staff. They answered all my many questions with kindness and reassured me perfectly.”
“I have attended Shiphay Dental for many years and I have always had excellent treatment. They’re friendly and courteous while remaining professional at all times. The receptionists, hygienists and dentists cannot be faulted in my eyes. I am completely satisfied. At this awful time with COVID-19, I still felt safe and secure attending as everything is done to comply with regulations.”
"I like the efficient and friendly staff as well as the very well-kept condition of the whole practice. Even though my husband and I have to travel approximately 30 miles for our appointments, we would not consider changing to a more local practice as Eric, the dentist I see, shows a genuine interest in my dental care. He’s so friendly, he listens, advises and during various treatments I have received, has given excellent quality care. I can’t praise him enough"
"Excellent service at all times from this practice. Strict adherence to all COVID guidelines. Friendly, efficient office and superior professional services. I always feel I’m in the caring hands of extremely skilled and competent practitioners"
"The people there are professional friends whom it is a pleasure to visit. The visits are swift and well managed, yet always feel as though there is nothing more important going on than the care of my health. The equipment there feels as though it is the best available and when, very occasionally I have a "dental emergency", this is invariably handled very quickly and nobody makes me feel as though I am interrupting their busy schedule."
"The knowledge and expertise of the dental surgeon that treats me combined with the professional and friendly atmosphere prevails despite the difficult circumstances everyone is working in."
"I have been a member of this practice for many years. They have always been helpful and friendly. Eric especially, has helped to reduce my fear of dentists by making me feel comfortable."

Branded treatments and services

Clear aligners which gradually straighten your teeth.

A safe and effective way to whiten your smile – either at the practice or at home.

A set of 4 to 6 dental implants replace a whole arch of missing teeth.
Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
