A warm welcome to our practice
Situated in the small village of Pelton, our practice has been providing the local community with dental services for over 20 years. We offer a range of both NHS and private treatments, delivered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We’ve recently refurbished our practice to provide our patients with a modern and up-to-date environment.
We have a downstairs surgery, which is fully wheelchair friendly. We accept new NHS and private patients and can provide emergency appointments if you need to be seen quickly.
Our dental treatments and services
We offer a range of both NHS and private dental treatments including routine check-ups for both adults and children, general restorative dentistry such as fillings and crowns and cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening. We also have orthodontists on hand who can perform discreet teeth straightening. If you’re nervous about treatment, speak to one of our friendly staff about sedation options.
Early and late appointments
Sometimes it can be hard to find time for dental appointments, which is why we’re open 8am to 7pm three days a week each week. Get in touch today to book an appointment.
Finding our clinic
Our practice is two minutes from the local post office and village centre. There are numerous bus routes that run from the nearby towns of Chester-le-Street and Stanley. If you’re driving, we have ample street parking right outside of the Practice.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
