Bupa wins Best Crisis Communications Campaign category at Northern Marketing Awards

For the second year running, Bupa’s Marketing team has received acknowledgement from their peers for their fantastic work by winning the Best Crisis Communications awards at the Northern Marketing Awards. The Northern Marketing Awards celebrate the excellence, creativity and achievements of the marketing industry in the North.

Whilst last year’s award for Best B2B Marketing team acknowledged the work of our B2B Marketing team in breaking the stigma around mental health in the workplace with their ‘Open up’ campaign, this year’s award for Best Crisis Communications celebrates our Marketing team as a whole.

With the sudden global emergency of COVID-19 and UK lockdown enforced in March, we at Bupa needed to support our customers and intermediary partners like never before. Immediately rethinking our communications strategy, we focused our efforts on using our clinical expertise to engage, educate and support customers and intermediaries – not to mention highlight the remote healthcare services we could offer at this unforeseen time of crisis.

Now more than ever, our customers and intermediary partners need quality, clarity and consistency in our communications, and we’re delighted that our Marketing team are receiving the accolades that they deserve in providing this to our customers.
