How does our mental health insurance measure up?
Open Up: Let’s talk about mental health at work
71% of workers still think mental health is a taboo subject in the workplace1, but Bupa’s #OpenUp suggests it should be a normal topic at work. Visit our Open Up page to see Bupa’s business leaders share their own mental health experiences, inspiring you to get the conversation started with your team too.
Workplace Mental Health Hub
This is where you’ll find lots of information and advice to help you manage mental wellbeing and resilience in your own workplace.
Together, we can take practical steps to look after everyone’s mental health and to support wellbeing and resilience at work.
Manager’s guide: mental health in the workplace
As a manager, you care about people and want to provide the very best support. So we’ve created a manager’s guide to help you promote strong mental health at work.
Because we look after all of you. Mind and body.
Workplace wellbeing hub
Visit our hub for tips on setting a workplace wellbeing strategy and then managing mental health in the workplace. You can look up the common mental health problems in your industry, and there are regular blogs with expert tips, advice and news to share with your employees. Now you can help everyone stay on top of their game.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
We all need a little extra support from time to time. An Employee Assistance Programme gives your team access to a confidential helpline, day and night, so they can talk to a trained counsellor about anything that’s bothering them. Sharing a problem in confidence can be an excellent way for them to gain a fresh perspective and improve their mental wellbeing.
When you subscribe to an EAP, it doesn’t cost your employees anything to call for expert support, 24/7.
Mental health first aid in the workplace
Bupa UK, along with businesses like Royal Mail, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and WHSmith, is calling on the government to amend the health & safety regulations. We want workplaces to have to provide mental health first aid too.
Helping our communities to live longer, healthier, happier lives
We believe in making a positive contribution to wider society, so we share ideas and best practice through our partnerships. We've partnered with organisations such as Business in the Community (BITC), set up by Prince Charles, and the City Mental Health Alliance (CMHA).
