Welcome to Bupa Dental Care Egremont

Our small and friendly dental practice is situated in the heart of Egremont and has been open since 2009. We offer NHS and private dental treatments and services, and also accept referrals from other dentists.

Here at Bupa Dental Care Egremont we’re proud to put patient care and comfort at the very heart of everything we do. A warm welcome awaits you in our bright and comfortable waiting area where we provide free Wi-FI. Our friendly approachable staff will be happy to explain treatments and answer any questions you may have. We’re currently accepting new private patients.

We are easy to find right in the centre of Egremont on the main High Street. On-street parking is available next to the Practice and we’re also on the main bus routes through the town. We offer evening appointments for private treatments.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.

COVID-19 safety tariff (where applicable)

The health, wellbeing and safety of our patients, their families and our people is our priority and always will be.

That’s why, following the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve taken the essential decision to put extra safety measures in place right across our practice, so you can continue to visit our dentists with the reassurance that you are secure and protected.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has always been worn by our clinical teams in the practice, but the new safety measures mean that our clinicians will now be wearing enhanced PPE to minimise the risk of cross contamination during treatment.

To ensure that each patient has the protection they need we have to apply a separate tariff for the enhanced PPE that is required for each dental treatment. The tariff will vary by treatment type – please contact your local practice for more information.

This is a temporary measure - we are committed to keeping costs to a minimum and hope to reduce this further as the cost for PPE reduces, or the need for enhanced safety measures decreases or are no longer needed.
