A quiet home nestled in the South Downs National Park
Pendean house features original oak panelling, large windows that give ample natural light, and ornate fire places. All of this helps give the home an elegant period feel. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items to make it feel a bit more homely.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Our home offers plenty of space in its lounges and dining rooms. With a rolling landscape garden, there is ample space for them to enjoy the outside.
Curl up with a good book in our library
Settle down with a choice from our vast range of books and take them to quiet spaces to enjoy them.
Reminisce in the sensory garden and relax in one of the summer houses
Outdoors, we have large landscaped gardens with a pond, two summer houses and a sensory garden.
Enjoy peace and quiet or make music in one of our lounges
One of our lounges is home to its own piano and the patio has great views and is perfect for enjoying the fresh air and summer sunsets.
There’s no typical day at Pendean House, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Listen to speakers talk about resident chosen topics
Residents can pick whatever topics they wish to learn about and we’ll aim to get a speaker to come in and talk to them about it.
Enjoy themed events throughout the year
Residents are in for a treat with numerous themed events that we hold throughout the year and a few that are suggested by the residents themselves.
