Jacqui, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
A great location close to the river and Battersea Park
Our bright and cheerful modern home is a quiet oasis in the heart of a residential area in SW11. It’s just a short walk to local shops, cafés, restaurants and the park.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Here at Meadbank there’s a wide choice of indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing or welcoming loved ones. Many bedrooms have WC facilities, and many have a balcony or views over the garden.
Lots of places to read, chat or do a hobby
We have several lounges and a conservatory for our residents to relax and socialise in.
Music, reading, entertainment and more
Our entertainment room and mobile library ensure there is always something for our residents to do.
Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine
The garden is perfect for quiet strolls and our attractively landscaped enclosed courtyard is great for enjoying good weather.
There’s no typical day at Meadbank, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Lots of special interests
Residents can get involved as much or as little as they like with our range of activities. We have singers, quizzes, knit and natter, chair aerobics, art club to name a few.
London’s on our doorstep
We have trips out to Battersea Park, shopping, and flower shows, as well as taking residents into London.
Keep fit and healthy with gentle armchair exercises
From the comfort of their armchair, residents can still maintain a healthy level of fitness.
"People received personalised care from staff who now had the right mix of knowledge, skills and experience to perform their roles and responsibilities well. One relative told us, "I would recommend the home because they treat my [family member] as an individual. They [staff] call everybody by their names and know what he likes and doesn't."
“When my husband was admitted, I had fears and reservations about the level of care he would receive. Luckily over the last few months of his being there, these fears have changed to delight and happiness. I know that my husband is well cared for daily.”
Wife of resident, 17 April 2024, carehome.co.uk
"Meadbank really helped to make my father’s 80th Birthday celebrations so special. We all had such a lovely time and will treasure the memories of the day. We would especially like to thank the Deputy Manager who went over and above to make it to make it so successful.."
