What mental health therapies do Bupa offer?
Mindplace offers professional mental health therapy that fits around your life. You can choose face‑to‑face or remote sessions, so getting support feels easier and more accessible.
It’s normal for your mental health to change. You might be dealing with things like:
- anxiety
- grief
- low mood
- other emotional difficulties
If you’re going through a tough time, talking to someone can help. Our therapists and support team will guide you to the right type of therapy for your needs.

Counselling
Initial appointments from £84
Counselling may be helpful if you’re going through a difficult time.
A counsellor will listen and support you with personal and emotional challenges.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
Initial appointments from £119
CBT can help if your thoughts or feelings are affecting your daily life.
You may practise techniques to challenge unhelpful thinking and build healthier habits.
Psychology support
Initial appointments from £155
Sessions with a clinical or counselling psychologist may include practical tasks. It can help with things like anxiety, depression, stress, burnout or chronic pain.
Your psychologist and you will make a plan based on your needs.

Book your review call
One of our mental wellbeing practitioners will have a one-to-one phone call with you.
They’ll ask you some questions about how you’re feeling and what support you’re looking for.
They’ll then recommend the best next step for you.
The initial review call costs £99.
We’ll book you in
If talking therapy is right for you, we’ll book you in for your first appointment.
Therapy sessions can be either face-to-face at one of our centres or remotely over telephone or video call – whichever you prefer.
Attend your first appointment
During your first appointment, your therapist will ask you about your life, your experiences and what you’d like to achieve.
Together, you’ll create a plan for how we can support you.
Have regular sessions with your therapist
Your plan may begin with six, eight or ten sessions, depending on what your therapist recommends. Appointments will be weekly or fortnightly, with regular check-ins on your progress.
If you need more sessions at the end of your plan, your therapist will discuss this with you.
