Dr Alexandra Mansell (she/her)

Lead Physician Blua GP and Women’s Health Clinical Lead, Remote GP Services, Bupa UK

Dr Alexandra Mansell is a GP and Clinical Lead within Bupa’s Remote GP (BLUA) service, working both clinically and as part of a wider leadership team to support safe, high quality care across digital GP services.

Before training as a doctor, Alexandra spent several years working as an emergency nurse in a busy London emergency department. This early career experience has strongly shaped her approach to medicine, giving her a practical, calm and patient focused mindset that continues to underpin her work as a GP. She brings a strong emphasis on listening, clear communication and compassionate decision making, particularly in high pressure or emotionally charged situations.

Alexandra has broad experience across NHS and private healthcare, including emergency medicine, general practice, mental health, urgent care and remote consultations. Alongside her generalist GP role, she has significant experience in women’s health and regularly manages a wide range of gynaecological and hormonal issues. She has a particular interest in delivering accessible, realistic and evidence based care that works well for patients using remote services.

As one of the Remote GP clinical leads, Alexandra contributes to clinical governance, audit and service development and enjoys supporting clinicians to deliver confident, consistent and patient centred care. She is passionate about maintaining high clinical standards while ensuring care is supportive and responsive to individual needs.

Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys playing the piano, sea swimming and spending time outdoors with her children.
