Sal is a MSK Physiotherapist based at the Reading Bupa Health Centre since 2016. She has a special interest in Women’s Health. Sal has graduated with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Brunel University and is currently back at Brunel studying at the Master’s level MSc in Pelvic Health. She is also a certified MummyMOT practitioner, providing a specialist post-natal assessments for women recovering after birth.
In addition to the usual physiotherapy treatment techniques (manual therapy, taping, acupuncture) she believes in empowering her patients with knowledge and understanding of the human body and its ability to recover following an injury or surgery. She is also passionate about encouraging her patients to make exercise part of their lifestyle.
Sal is a qualified Pilates teacher, trained by the APPI, as well as Level 3 Personal trainer and Level 2 Strength &Conditioning Coach.
Outside of work, Sal can be found on daily walks with her dog traversing the local countryside or practicing what she believes in, strength training.
