Digital wellbeing FAQs
Anyone who is a Bupa UK insurance or trust customer. This could be someone who:
- has private medical insurance or through their employer group private medical insurance
- has cover under a health trust
- is covered as part of somebody’s cover options on a personal medical insurance policy, such as a partner or dependant. Dependants must be over 16 years old to use the services
Digital Wellbeing is a value-add service provided to all Bupa private medical insurance and trust customers; the cost of these services is covered by your premium. There are no additional charges.
No, digital wellbeing resources are a value-added service for Bupa UK health insurance customers only.
No, classes are only provided virtually through the My Bupa app.
The My Bupa app isn’t currently optimised to be used for web, tablet, and laptop devices. However, we are exploring ways to extend our services to be used on these devices.
For best results, please download the My Bupa app on your smart phone.
You can use them as much as you’d like. This is a value-add service and not a policy benefit, so there are no benefit limits to using the digital wellbeing resource in the My Bupa app. This means there’s no excess either.
No. However, if your have dependants that are aged 16 and over, and they are covered by your health insurance, they can download the My Bupa app and access our digital wellbeing services that way.
No, digital wellbeing is a value-add service provided as part of membership. While you can’t cancel the service, there’s no pressure to use it.
