Bupa’s weight management terms and conditions

1. In these terms and conditions, references to “Bupa” are to Bupa Insurance Services Limited, which may act through its agent Bupa Occupational Health Limited.

The Offer

2. Subject to eligibility, the “Offer” provides for eligible members who begin or are already on the Bupa weight management plan (the “Bupa Weight Management Plan”) to have one free GP consultation and 10% off ongoing costs of the plan when they contact Bupa to access the Offer providing the code below after 11 September 2025. The Offer ends 10 September 2026.

4. Further details about the Bupa Weight Management Plan can be found at https://www.bupa.co.uk/health/payg/weight-management-plan. The Offer cannot be used against any other Bupa product or service.

Eligibility

5. The Bupa Weight Management Plan is designed to support Members to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Those with diabetes aren’t eligible for the Bupa Weight Management Plan. If you have diabetes please discuss weight management options with your usual clinician.
6. You must meet the relevant clinical eligibility requirements as set out by the relevant licensing and regulation agency from time to time (the “Clinical Eligibility Requirements”), which will be reviewed and considered during the initial GP appointment and throughout the Bupa Weight Management Plan. All clinical eligibility decisions are made by the relevant clinician. Your clinician will decide whether it's safe for you to use weight loss medication, and which one, when looking at your medical history.
7. The Offer is available for existing Bupa Members who hold a consumer or SME Bupa policy, subject to meeting the Clinical Eligibility Requirements and the Bupa Weight Management Plan terms and conditions. What happens next

8. If You meet the Clinical Eligibility Requirements, and are starting the Bupa Weight Management Plan You will then be able to:
   • a. book a 30 minute consultation (face-to-face or remote) with a Bupa GP to:
     • i. establish weight management needs and goals;
     • ii. develop a comprehensive weight loss plan; and
     • iii. receive a private prescription for weight loss medication.
9. The ongoing costs of the Weight Management Plan may be varied from time to time. See https://www.bupa.co.uk/health/payg/weight-management-plan for cost information.
10. All appointments are subject to availability and separate terms and conditions shall apply, see www.bupa.co.uk/rewards. Should you fail to turn up for your appointment or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, you may be liable to pay the monetary cost of the appointment.
11. You must start the Bupa Weight Management Plan within 3 months of your initial GP appointment. If you start the Bupa Weight Management Plan after 3 months from your initial GP appointment, you will not be eligible to benefit from this promotion. This means you cannot benefit from the free GP appointments.

General terms

12. Usage of the Bupa Weight Management Plan will not have any impact on your Bupa insurance policy. It will not count as a claim or erode any of your insurance benefits.
13. Bupa reserves the right to decline to offer an applicant access to the Bupa Weight Management Plan in its absolute discretion and Bupa’s decision regarding any aspect of this Offer is final.
14. Bupa reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, amend or withdraw the Offer at any point. By accepting this Offer, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
15. The Offer is non-transferable, has no cash value/alternative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.
16. We recognise that when you give us personal information (which includes health information) you’re trusting us to take good care of it. Bupa won't share your personal data with third party providers. Any personal data you share directly with a provider will be governed by their privacy policy. 17. This Offer will be governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. To the fullest extent permitted by law Bupa Insurance Services Limited, Bupa Occupational Health Limited and the Bupa group of companies shall not incur liability for any claims, damages, losses or other liabilities whatsoever arising under or otherwise in connection with this Offer.

19. The Bupa Weight Management Plan is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
