Our highlights from Spring / Summer 2020
Over the last few months our amazing residents and staff have done everything they can to maintain normality and keep spirits high. Here are just some of the latest activities and events that have been happening in our homes.
Keeping spirits up at Wingham Court
Our staff and residents found inventive ways to keep their spirits high during lockdown, decorating the home for International Nurses Day and taking part in a coordinated dance led by a member of S-Club 7.

Burley Hall residents enjoy Summer Fair
A fun filled day in the sunshine helped boost morale for our residents and staff as they enjoyed a Summer Fair in our beautiful gardens, with the chance to win prizes and play games such as hoopla and tombola.

Green Gates brings the seaside to its residents
Residents were given their own staycation experience when staff hosted a fun-filled beach party in the sunshine, with the chance to feel sand and water in between their hands and toes and reminisce about their most memorable seaside holidays.

Resident celebrates 105th birthday at Heol Don
Margaret Edwards was joined by staff and fellow residents for an afternoon of tea and homemade cake to celebrate her 105th birthday, which included another milestone birthday card from the Queen.

The care and safety of our residents has been our highest priority during these strange times, with many of our staff going above and beyond. Here are just a few of our care home heroes and how went the extra mile for their residents.
Suzanne Baldwin
Suzanne is the Activities Coordinator at Tadworth Grove. For the past month, she’s stepped up to help run the kitchen ensuring the home continues to deliver the residents’ favourite food during lockdown.
Poppy Allison
Poppy is the Clincial Services Manager at Broomcroft House. Poppy has been living in the home since the beginning of April, leaving her two children at home.
Luke Owens
Broomcroft House manager Luke has shown incredible leadership and dedication to both residents and staff, Luke made the hard decision to move into the home at the start of April.
