A modest home in an attractive residential area
Ardenlea Court is purpose built to offer residents modern comforts and a social home. Each room has its own flat screen TV and many hold views of the landscape gardens. Residents are encouraged to bring belongings for a personal touch.

"The staff and I are so passionate about the work we do. We strive to make a difference for our residents every day and give the best quality of care possible."
Sara King - Home manager at Ardenlea Court

Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
With three lounges, an onsite pub, a terrace and patio, residents can find plenty of spaces to unwind and relax. Make new friends over tea and coffee while admiring the landscaped gardens.
Enjoy a drink at the onsite court Jester
Residents can listen to their favourites in the music room or catch up with loved ones and enjoy a drink at the onsite Court Jester bar.

Have a pampered afternoon
There is plenty of pampering to be had in our on-site hair salon with a range of beautician options.

Stroll through the open landscaped gardens
Outside, they can enjoy the fresh air on the terrace or stroll around our landscaped gardens, where there’s also a pretty summerhouse.

There’s no typical day at Ardenlea Court, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Ignite both old and new hobbies
Residents can still do most of their existing hobbies here. They can also suggest something they’d like to try, as a group or in their room.

Enjoy regular themed days
We hold many themed events for days like Remembrance Sunday as well as celebrating seasonal occasions.

Take a trip into Birmingham
Birmingham is only 10 miles away and has a vast range of activities that our residents can participate in.

"My father, aged 88 and alert, joined the home in September 2020 as he had Parkinson's. He had 4 or 5 weeks rehab first, and then decided to stay owing to the good care, excellent meals (he loves breakfast), the room with ensuite, and the modern facilities in a medium sized building. He has now been there 5 months and is happy there in spite of no visits (due to covid travel restrictions etc). Daily visits to the lounge, daily activities (games, visit to the "Pub" etc), but the opportunity to stay in his room if he wishes, has kept him occupied. Carers are lovely and are always jolly and happy to talk on the phone when I ring. Carers work hard to look after him - GP visits once per week, and the home have organised visits from a therapist (to encourage walking) and dietician. No landlines in the rooms, so residents must use their own mobile, or a communal (phone) handset - sometimes I cannot get through or the phone is in use. (Financial) admin is good. Good, all-round care and he is happy!"

"Clean and comfortable rooms which are serviced by an enthusiastic and sensitive group of staff carers. Leisure activities are appropriate and varied, with residents encouraged to take part in activities on a regular basis. Food options are of a high quality with a wide choice at every meal. Communication from the home is adequate."

"I cannot rate the Ardenlea Court staff and patient care more highly. The staff consistently went above and beyond to look after Mum. They were compassionate, patient and accommodating, not just with Mum but also with us, her family. We will never forget their kindness, dedication and hard work. These are people who care and they made all the difference in our remaining time with Mum. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you."
