A purpose-built home with every comfort and convenience
Our modern home is the perfect setting for relaxing or recovering. We’re in a leafy residential neighbourhood in Watford, just a short stroll from the library, leisure centre, park, and town centre shops.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Residents can always choose where to spend their time and we’ve lots of places to relax. Family and friends are always welcome, whether popping by to catch-up over coffee, or to join in with activities.
Wrap-around gardens and spacious patio
We are surrounded by well maintained gardens and spacious patio. Residents can enjoy the outdoors and take in the fresh air.
A special place for activities
There is a large, dedicated activity room and a team of coordinators which means that a large range of activities can be offered all week.
Space for family celebrations
Our home is happy to make space available to families for hosting private events such as birthday parties. We’ll just need to know in advance. Plus, for an additional fee, we can arrange some catering.
There’s no typical day at Brunswick Court, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Exploring creativity
We do arts and crafts, cookery classes and flower-arranging, and have our own indoor gardening club.
Outings and trips to the park
We do summer visits to Cassiobury Park and outings to places like the zoo and museums.
Huge variety of entertainment
With a cinema club, sing-a-longs, quizzes and bingo, visiting singers and musicians, there is something for everyone.
“People were involved in making decisions about the care they received. This was through residents' meetings. Where suggestions had been mentioned, the management team were able to show this was listened to and actioned. One person said, "Can't fault the staff, they're wonderful, there is plenty to eat and drink, you have a choice, staff are always available when needed."
"We cannot fault anything. We find all the carers and nursing staff are all polite, friendly and caring. The managers and office staff are helpful and always on hand to help."
Son of resident, 19 April 2024, carehome.co.uk
"I'm very pleased with all the care. Since my dad has come out of hospital, I feel he's had the best care for his recovery. The nurses, carers, and entertainment staff make this home such a happy place to be. I'm very grateful to all the staff, and the residents too and I would recommend."
Daughter of resident, 26 March 2024, carehome.co.uk
“I cannot speak highly enough of the care, commitment, compassion and love given to my wonderful husband.”
