A former farmhouse in a tranquil community
Nestled by the coast in a quiet rural location, our home still has the classic oak beams and fireplaces you’d associate with a classic farmhouse but also has many modern conveniences.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Whether it’s treating yourself in the salon or simply taking some time out on your own to enjoy a favourite hobby, you’ll find ample space throughout our home for any activity.
We are a pet friendly care home
Being a pet friendly care home means our residents have someone to love, talk to and fuss over and they also offer a form of reassurance and alleviate stress.
Take time out to admire our well kept garden
There are plenty of outdoor spaces, including our large patio area to sit and take in the fresh air and sunshine.
There’s no typical day at Church Farm, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Scrabble Club
Our weekly scrabble club is a big hit with our residents and it can get very competitive!
Keep yourself active with gentle exercises
We want residents to be as healthy as possible so we encourage them to take part in regular gentle armchair exercises.
Summer garden parties
With our wide open gardens, we love our summer garden parties with our residents, families and friends.
“People and their families told us they felt it was safe at Church Farm. Comments included, "Oh yes, I know everything is fine," "I feel very safe when people come and talk to me," "[Person's name] is safe. I can tell they are well looked after, they are cheerful and calm" and "There's always people around at night. They put their head round the door and check up on you.”
“As much as I would prefer our mother to be back in her own home, the care she receives at Church Farm has never disappointed, and the staff, front desk and management all work well to provide feedback and assist in our efforts to communicate - especially important given that her children all live in different countries so cannot visit frequently.”
Son of Resident, 1st September 2023, carehome.co.uk
“Church Farm is a fantastic place to stay. My mum was very frail and lived alone but when she arrived there as a resident, within a few months she is a different person. She always looks happy, relaxed and confident now. The staff are all superb and go the extra mile to make each day special. The staff work so hard and are always good-natured. I can’t thank the staff enough for their care. My mum also loves the food provided. She also looks forward to the entertainment and activities each day. Thank you so much Church Farm.”
Daughter of Resident, 1st September 2023, carehome.co.uk
“The staff always make me welcome and are friendly. A smiley caring bunch of people. The outside space is well presented with comfortable seating and well-kept gardens. Plenty of parking as well as a welcoming foyer. Staff always available to discuss your relative and put your mind at rest over any concerns you may have.”
