Jacqui, Leeds Customer Care Team, who are we?
Care in a quiet nature filled neighbourhood
Our home is a former cottage hospital now converted with modern conveniences. Our residents enjoy spacious rooms that are filled with light as well as walking through our quaint gardens.

Discover everything you need to know about our home with our latest video tour. It’ll give you an overview of our home, from the care we provide to the facilities on offer, with photography of the bedrooms and living areas too.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Whether it’s out on the patio or in one of our lounges, residents can be sure that there is an area suited for them to either socialise or relax on their own.
A special place for activities
There is a large, dedicated activity room and a team of coordinators which means that a large range of activities can be offered all week.
Walk through our gardens and take in its features
Outside, residents can enjoy our lovely wrap-around garden. They can watch the fish in our pond or catch up with family over a coffee on the patio
Get a new haircut or pamper yourself in our salon
Our salon hairdresser can cut residents hair as well as offering the chance for you to pamper yourself and relax.
There’s no typical day at Clare House, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Getting involved with daily tasks
Our residents love taking care of our home, whether that’s looking after the plants from their wheelchair or helping us with a bit of paperwork in the office. These are great for using skills and enjoying a sense of achievement.
Keep yourself active
We have many exercise groups that residents can join and we encourage them to do so to keep fit.
Share stories with younger generations
There are regular visit from school children who come by to sing and interact with residents.
"People were cared for by staff who were appropriately trained and supported. People had consented to their care and treatment. Where people did not have the capacity to consent the provider had acted in accordance with the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. People's healthcare needs were met and they had access to the healthcare professionals they needed."
