Welcome to Cleveland House Care Home in Huddersfield
Originally a private house, Cleveland House is a grand, classical home in the Edgerton area of Huddersfield. Although it has been extended, the home retains many of its elegant original features, such as ornate ceilings, panelled doors and beautiful fireplaces. There are extensive grounds at the home with a greenhouse, pergola, two sensory gardens and a herb garden.
We offer specialist Parkinson’s and Huntington’s support in addition to a range of care from short-term and convalescence to long-term, nursing and palliative.
During their most recent inspection, the Care Quality Commission identified areas where we need to make changes at this home. At Bupa, we want to provide the very best care for all of our residents, which is why we’re taking the report very seriously. We have already taken actions and are working hard to make these improvements. If you'd like to discuss the changes that are taking place, please get in touch with the Home Manager directly.

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
