“Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are both caring and professional in each role. As a concerned daughter, the staff nurses and sisters have made me feel that I can approach them as often as I need to and have always done their utmost to answer my questions and fulfill my requests for my Mum. It's clear they are very experienced with caring for people at this stage of their journey. Mum hasn't experienced the activities but I have seen a few of them and they seem stimulating.”
Daughter of Resident, 31-Mar-20, carehome.co.uk
“I'm very happy with the care Mum receives at Collingwood Grange Care Home. Staff are friendly and approachable and they are very attentive to Mum, particularly in encouraging and supporting her to eat. They also keep the family informed regularly regarding Mum's care which we really appreciate.”
Daughter of Resident, 27-Feb-20, carehome.co.uk
“Collingwood Grange allows a person to retain their dignity and independence. The home has plenty of free parking places for visitors and a very welcoming entrance. I was impressed with the large private rooms with their own en-suite. Patients are allowed to put up their own pictures and bring in their own furniture - making it 'home from home'. The staff are very caring and genuinely want to help, making sure the residents are comfortable and entertained. There are so many activities on offer. The relaxed open-door policy makes visiting, especially as they allow well-behaved dogs to visit - a real comfort to the owner and a pleasure for other residents to be able to stroke an animal.”
