Our friendly community in Colchester is split into four houses, each one offering different types of care to anyone over the age of 18. We offer nursing, residential and dementia care as well as having a dedicated unit for people living with Huntington’s. It can also offer a space for people to rest, relax and recover with short stays too.

Colonia Court is split between four houses. Each offers modern comforts and conveniences in a pleasant environment. There are secure gardens and a variety of rooms for our residents to pursue activities.

There are lots of places to relax here with lounges in each house and a social dining area with a bright conservatory - a great space for catching up with loved ones.
Enjoy the outdoor
Outside, our wheelchair-friendly gardens have lots of seating along with raised flower beds to admire or enjoy a bit of gardening. We also have our own aviary where residents can watch the birds fly around.
Treat yourself inside our salon
There is an on-site salon, so residents can treat themselves to a fresh trim.

The team at Colonia Court is dedicated to providing specialist care tor those living with Huntington’s Disease. We cater for a very broad range of needs, including those whose behaviour may be described as challenging.

We have great links with our local community. We’ll help you to stay in touch with your own circles of friends and interests, and you’ll be able to join in with what’s going on locally.

We have great transport links, with lots of shops nearby and are situated just outside of the city centre. Nearby, you’ll find local pieces of history like Colchester Castle, St Botolph's Priory and we are just a 30-minute drive away from Clacton-on-Sea.
Activities at Colonia Court
There’s no typical day at Colonia Court, we arrange plenty to do, both at the home and out and about.
