A comfortable home nestled between High Wealds and South downs
A purpose built home in a rural setting, Copper Beech has lovely scenery with a friendly and inviting atmosphere to make our residents as comfortable as possible.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Snug lounges and interactive sensory rooms give residents the ideal spaces to follow their hobbies or simply take time out to relax.
Walk around our secure and peaceful gardens
Outside, they can enjoy our pretty gardens and patios. We’re surrounded by woodland too, so we get lots of wild birds visiting.
Make the most of good weather by sitting out on our patio
The patio overlooks much of the garden and provides comfortable seating to view the surrounding area.
Unwind and treat yourself in our onsite salon
Our salon is an ideal place to relax while our hairdressers pamper you.
There’s no typical day at Copper Beech, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.

These regular parties and dementia friendly coffee mornings help our residents get to know each other that little bit better.

A variety of speakers are always on hand to share their knowledge of local history.
“People's physical and mental health were monitored, and they were encouraged to be active and lead as healthy a life as possible. The registered manager met with the unit leads each day to ensure the handover between shifts communicated any changes in people's needs.”
"My mother spent the last three months of her life at Copper Beech, following a hospital stay. Prior to that, she had been in a different care home where she hadn’t been given the level of care she needed. Copper Beech saved the day and took mum in when she was very poorly and gave her a calm and loving few months. She had severe dementia and pressure sores on arrival, obviously, the dementia couldn’t improve but mum seemed calmer with the lovely care she was given and her pressure sores healed up quickly. She wasn’t given calming drugs until near the end. The nurse kept us up to date with mum’s care, always popping in to have a word when we visited, which was most days.
The staff were all wonderful and cared for her with respect and dignity right up to her passing away. They were always very welcoming to family and friends who visited. I highly recommend Copper Beech, thank you for giving calm and kind care at the end of my mother’s life. We will forever be grateful."

"The care home has a very welcoming feel. The staff are very friendly and always willing to chat. The residents' welfare and needs seem to come first and thoughtful and enjoyable entertainment is provided by enthusiastic entertainment staff. The food looks delicious and appetising. Although an OAP, I am not in need of a care home yet, but I hope that if I do have to place myself in one it is as good as Copper Beech."
