Residents are supported to continue to enjoy their existing hobbies and are welcome to suggest something new they’d like to try.

Our salon hairdresser can cut residents hair as well as offering the chance for you to pamper yourself and relax.

Making dreams come true
We think it’s #NeverTooLate so wherever we can, we help residents to achieve something from their ‘bucket list’.

There’s no typical day at Cottenham Court, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Spend time with the younger generations
We often have pre-schoolers and college students visit and read to our residents.

Leave your mark on the gardens
Residents can help maintain both the main gardens and the sensory herb garden.

Head out to local museums and areas of interest
With a rich local history we help our residents head out and see museums and places of interest to them.

"People at the home and their named relative were communicated to re COVID-19 restrictions and updates including vaccinations via a letter. Phone calls and video calls were also available to people to stay in contact with friends and family. New computer tablets had been purchased to help people to stay in contact."
“The atmosphere in the home is always caring and friendly from all staff and other residents too. Staff take their time to make sure all is well and behind doors, the kitchen is making fabulous food which always looks and smells yummy.”
Friend of resident, 9 August 2023, carehome.co.uk
“It was a traumatic experience having to bring my aunt to a care home, but the staff were so reassuring. I have come today (from where I live) and have found a well-settled, neat and happy 104-year-old going to the restaurant and joining in the activities.”
Niece of resident, 21 June 2023, carehome.co.uk
“The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They provide excellent care for my husband in a lovely setting. My family and I would recommend this care home and staff to anyone looking for a future home for their loved one.”
