Welcome to Dean Wood Care Home in Brighton

Dean Wood opened in April 2013, and is a stunning modern-designed care home with every thought given to its layout and the care it provides to its residents. The home boasts a private rooftop terrace with beautiful views over the South Downs and coastline, as well as a café on the second floor. There's also a family room at the home which provides overnight accommodation for relatives, with a sofa and TV. The home also has a number of open-plan kitchens for the use of residents and their families and friends.

You can make an appointment by calling us and booking in a visit with our home manager.  We have an open door policy, so you’re welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we advise you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy.

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
