What do others say about this home?
“People were supported in a stable and caring environment. The staff promoted an atmosphere which was kind and friendly and staff had developed positive relationships with people. Visiting was not restricted and people were supported to maintain relationships with people that mattered to them. People had built caring relationships with staff. Staff treated people with respect and recognised people's needs for privacy.”
“The quality of the nursing and personal care is outstanding and I’m often overwhelmed at how professional and caring the staff are. Dad and I visit daily and we’re always made very welcome and kept well informed. Nothing is too much trouble. We can see Mum is getting to know the staff and has grown fond of them, which is lovely. Even though she is bed bound there’s a constant flow of people in and out making a fuss of her. There’s always plenty of staff around and a GP visits twice a week which is all very reassuring. Thank you to all the staff for looking after Mum so well."

“Amazing, caring, patient staff in the dementia unit. The respect, care, attention, comfort they all show to the residents is excellent. My mother's family visit her 2-3 times a day and we all see the staff being so kind to the other residents, many of which don't have family or visitors. We feel very confident in leaving our mother in their care.”

“Dean Wood offers my mum an excellent, caring and supportive environment. The care is really good and my mum's needs are met. The staff are always pleasant and look after us when we visit. The care home is clean and maintained to a high standard. The rooms are always clean and tidy. One important aspect is the number of activities for my mum to do!"
